These picturesque cottages have been designed with a neighborhood atmosphere and offer all of the independence, privacy, and comforts of home without the worries of snow removal, maintenance, and lawn care. Although residents are independent in their home, each apartment is equipped with an Emergency Response System.

Life in the Village

Our Village is a true community and year-round engagement is encouraged for all of our residents as they live and age well. We encourage our residents to engage and participate in community life at Brethren Care Village. Our residents have access to The Greens Bistro & Pub and can take advantage of all the benefits of our Wellness & Community Center. They can participate in frequent on-campus events held by our Life Enrichment Team, along with group outings off campus (when possible and where appropriate). They’re able to stay active by using our convenient walking paths across the campus grounds, and engage with friends and family in our communal areas, which include playground spaces or just a park to sit and relax.

I have lived here at Brethren Care Village since August 2022 in one of the Independent Living Cottages. Right from the start I knew this was the place for me! My neighbors made quick friends with me and were so helpful. The staff, every one of them, is so attentive and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The relaxed, Christian environment makes each day a special one. There is plenty to do here- a wide variety of activities and trips make you feel at home. Everything is taken care of, from lawn maintenance to snow removal to indoor needs. (I cannot say enough good things about the Maintenance staff- they are terrific!) I thank the Lord each day for guiding my steps to live here.

A very special thanks for all of the varied activities. They are what makes living here so enjoyable. All of the employees seem to put 150% into their work along with being friendly and very helpful. I have recommended Brethren Care to many of my friends and showed them Belmont Tower and the Greens Bistro.

I can’t get over how comfortable this place is. The rooms are so big and my closet is huge! I am treated so well here. I also love the bus trips, crafts, church services, and Bingo!
